Watermark PDF
Stamp a text or image watermark onto every page.
Stamp every page
Your text is applied across the whole document in one step — no page-by-page work.
Control opacity, size, angle
Dial in how subtle or bold the watermark looks before you commit.
No LawLease branding
Only your text appears on the result — we add nothing to your file.
Stamp your text on every page
Marking a PDF as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL shouldn’t require software you have to buy or a server you have to trust. LawLease’s free watermark tool lets you type your own text, tune the opacity, size, and angle, and stamp it across every page — entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and your finished PDF carries only your watermark, not ours.

Why watermark PDFs with LawLease
A watermarker built for the people who handle lease paperwork every day.
Every page, in one step
The watermark lands on all pages at once — no selecting, no repeating the same action across a 20-page lease.
Subtle to bold — your call
Opacity, size, and a diagonal toggle give you full control, from a faint ghost watermark to a hard-to-ignore stamp across the center of each page.
No LawLease branding on the result
Your watermark is the only thing added to the file. We don’t stamp our name or logo anywhere on documents you produce.
Stays on your device
Watermarking runs in your browser — your PDFs never leave your machine, which matters when the document contains tenant financials or personal information.
What landlords use it for
A few of the everyday jobs this handles in under a minute.
DRAFT lease before signing
Stamp DRAFT across a lease you’re sharing with a tenant for review so neither party mistakes it for the executed version.
COPY on shared disclosures
Mark a Texas §92 disclosure or move-in checklist as COPY before emailing it so your original stays clearly distinguished.
CONFIDENTIAL on financial docs
Label tenant income statements, background reports, or credit summaries CONFIDENTIAL before you store or forward them.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the watermark tool free?
- Yes. Watermarking runs in your browser for free. You only create a free account — no credit card — to download the result.
- Can I watermark only some pages?
- The watermark is applied to every page. To watermark a subset, split out those pages first using the LawLease split tool, watermark them, then merge them back.
- Will the watermark cover up my text?
- Not if you use a low opacity. The default is 20%, which leaves the document fully readable. Raise it only if you want a bolder stamp.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs on your device. Your PDF never leaves your browser — not while watermarking and not after.
- Can I change the angle of the watermark?
- Yes. Check the diagonal option to rotate the text 45° across the center of each page, or uncheck it to keep the text flat and horizontal.
- What text can I use as a watermark?
- Anything you type — CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY, your company name, a case number. The field accepts any plain text.
